postboy99 4 Posted November 29, 2018 Posted November 29, 2018 (edited) Hello, I've purchased Emby Premiere and wanted to test the cinema mode with Trailers Plugin. I'm running Emby Server on my Snyology NAS Version 3.5.3.0 and Trailers Plugin 1.1.6.0 and Emby for Android Mobile 3.0.21. In my Media --> Trailers --> New and Upcoming in Theaters: When I start a Trailer on my Mobile it is doing nothing, just the waiting circle. When I press the 'Trailer' button instead of 'Play' it is working and in my language(german). I also tried it on Chrome app.emby.media on my PC and it seems to put the trailer in the background. Finally I found a solution for my Mobile with using an external media player(VLC Player), then it is running the trailers. Is it a known issue? Another question is, is there a way to run the trailers in german language in cinema mode? I mean you can already by going into the Trailer Media and press 'trailer' instead of 'play'. Luke 42078 Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 Hi, the error in the log should be resolved for the next release of emby server, thanks.
postboy99 4 Posted November 30, 2018 Author Posted November 30, 2018 Ok, thanks. And is there a way to run the trailers of the trailers plugin in the cinema mode? By doing this, you would be able to get trailers in cinema mode in your preferred language.
postboy99 4 Posted November 30, 2018 Author Posted November 30, 2018 (edited) Yes, if you go to my Media --> Trailers --> New and Upcoming in Theaters, you can see all trailers. There you have the choice between 'play' and 'trailer'. If you go for play, it runs the English version of the trailer(https://trailers.apple.com/trailers/ ??) but if you press 'trailer' button there, it runs the German version of the trailer(Youtube.com?). So it should be possible to use that for the cinema mode? Edited November 30, 2018 by postboy99
Luke 42078 Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 Ok the trailer button on a trailer is actually happening by accident, and that's probably coming from youtube. We don't currently use youtube as part of cinema mode because not all apps can support that. It's possible for the future though.
