Internet data? local network

Hi. I'm just wondering if I'm just streaming from my pc to apple tv on my local wifi network. Does it use internet data to stream the movie? Or is it just streamed locally and no data used.

If both your Apple TV and PC are on the same local network then your content would be streamed over the local network.

 

With that said the Apple TV requires Internet access to use the Emby application as that itself is periodically downloaded from the Internet.
