Build 3.0.151.0 adds support for the new "Mirror Mode" in the web client.  It will require you to be on at least build 5221 of the server.

I am able to use the mirroring just fine with MPC-HC as my external player.  By chance, is there any way to configure the polling interval from MPC-HC's WebServer?  Unless I'm mistaken, it currently samples every 5000ms?

No.  What are you trying to accomplish?

On issue 1 - I found the muting function from the web client to be a little squirrelly.  Sometimes, if I was slow and deliberate in using it, it worked fine.  But others after I muted the volume from the web client, the icon would grey out and then I couldn't un-mute it anymore.  Is this what you are seeing?  If so, it seems an issue on the web client end.

For 2 - What external player?  I was able to successfully stop something playing in MPC-HC.

Good day Ebr,

1 - Yes, that same issue, but Luke said it MBC issue tho.

2 - The external player is MPC-HC nightly x64, the build is: 1.7.3.45

I don't see how it could be.  The web client is deciding to disable the button after the mute command is sent.  @@Luke, what circumstance would make that happen?

Testing with the Android app, mute and un-mute work fine.

I am also able to pause and stop from the web client using the published build of MPC-HC which is 1.7.4 (April 16).

Doesn't look like any MPC-HC communications are working for you.  Resume tracking probably isn't working either.

I'm not sure that the 64 bit version works fine. And yet, MaDVR required 32-bit version. Also remote functionality works only with English interface enabled in MPC-HC.

Just to see more frequent updates on the WebUI.

Good day Ebr,

I update the server to latest build: 3.0.5223.38083 and MBC as 151, but same issue.

Good day WWWestern,

I am not using MADVR with this test, as well the interface always English :)

Mirroring doesn't work when playing from the web client to MBC - playback in MBC is fine.

I think this is a server issue as I don't get mirroring when casting to a ChromeCast device either.

Just posted about mirroring issue here.

Also, when playing from web client to MBC, the Dashboard says the video is transcoding, when it is actually a direct play.

I think you are misunderstanding what mirror mode is.  We do not attempt to synchronize playback across the two devices - just browsing.

That would be an issue for the server, please post it there.

As per the other thread, perhaps mirror mode needs renaming.

I did my tests with the 64bit version of MPC.

Abo - none of the communications from MBC to MPC are working on your machine.  That is why you can't stop (or do anything else to control) the video via remote.  Your resume functionality is probably not working as well.

I'm not sure why this is happening and only to you.

Already done.

Maybe port of web interface in MPC-HC is blocked on PC/server or "Listen on port:" is unchecked or "Allow access from localhost only" is checked.

Abo, it is a long shot but try version 152.
