I have however noticed at least for me on ubuntu 18.04 that emby 3.5.3.0 seems to perform best if it is restarted weekly. Is it ok to do this just as a cron job with sudo service emby-server restart, or is there a better way to go about it? The issues that i notice are pretty difficult to properly report, its things like slow response time and intermittently timing out when my wife tries to play a movie. Mostly just annoying issues and it seems like they always happen to my wife when i am at work lol.

I am not sure who the other devs are but you all keep up the great work, this is one fine product.

Use Restart instead of Shutdown as shown here. Edited November 23, 2018 by Happy2Play
