Erik 124 Posted November 20, 2018 Posted November 20, 2018 Hi, Just noticed that when your in the item view (like an episode for a series) the "ENDS" time is based on the length of the item only as i have already watched 42 minutes of the 60 minute show the time does not reflect the actual end time if i just finish watching the episode. So, wondered if the end time could be based on the remaining duration if a resume point is present. Just a thought for the future. Thanks, Erik 1
Erik 124 Posted November 20, 2018 Author Posted November 20, 2018 Only noticed in the roku app. I'll check some of the others tonight too.
RobWayBro 28 Posted November 20, 2018 Posted November 20, 2018 The web app displays the same, ends time is calculated on total time.
ebr 16169 Posted November 20, 2018 Posted November 20, 2018 Okay. I'm pretty sure Android TV and Apple TV display properly. We'll look at the others.
Erik 124 Posted November 21, 2018 Author Posted November 21, 2018 From the apps i use, the Roku (i use the beta mostly) and the web app are not respecting a resume duration and the IOS App doesn't display the ends time at all.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted November 21, 2018 Posted November 21, 2018 Not seeing this behavior on Roku beta .122 or web client. web client Roku .122
Erik 124 Posted November 21, 2018 Author Posted November 21, 2018 Not on that view (during playback), prior to pressing play, on the item view screen is what I'm talking about.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted November 21, 2018 Posted November 21, 2018 Okay know I see what you are referring to. web client Roku Itemdetails always calculates to item duration not Resume Duration. 1

Erik 124 Posted November 21, 2018 Author Posted November 21, 2018 That was way to fast.... Thanks everyone!
Happy2Play 9780 Posted November 21, 2018 Posted November 21, 2018 That fixes Roku, but this would have to be pushed for other clients also.
speechles 2055 Posted November 21, 2018 Posted November 21, 2018 (edited) That fixes Roku, but this would have to be pushed for other clients also. It also has to be pushed to Roku. This just means it is ready to deploy. The chief bottle washer ebr is in charge of deployments. Edited November 21, 2018 by speechles 1
