scoted74 1 Posted November 19, 2018 Posted November 19, 2018 All of the sudden I am experiencing slow transcoding to my Roku. I haven't made any changes recently and it was playing fine the other day. Currently it's only at 192kbps on everything when using Roku. I have tried to change transcoding to max and that didn't help as I have it at auto for my default. Any help would be much appreciated. log.txt
speechles 2055 Posted November 19, 2018 Posted November 19, 2018 (edited) VideoBitrate=64000&AudioBitrate=128000 Yeah its definitely got better sound than audio. That should happen when you choose "144P - 192 Kbps" on the OSD with the action buttons and the playback menu. It should also reset at the end of that item (at least for version 64000 + 128000 = 192000 = 192 Kbps It shouldn't be getting stuck, but this isn't the final revision to this section. We are in a blackout period for the store version of the app. But the beta version should still be able to get updates. The next version of the app has better control over resolution/quality and remembers better. It will make both the OSD and the options/settings match. @@ebr you should be able to update the beta in blackout periods. It is just the store approval that cannot. The review/approval still goes on, but the publishing of these is delayed to prevent complaints around holidays for official store apps. The beta on the private channel you should be able to keep rolling out updates as we please. On private apps you press the publish button not them. Edited November 19, 2018 by speechles
scoted74 1 Posted November 19, 2018 Author Posted November 19, 2018 I was on the beta app version 3.0. I removed it and then installed the one from the Roku store which is version 3.0.111 that has resolved the issue. Thanks
