motey 3 Posted November 19, 2018 Posted November 19, 2018 (edited) Hi EmbyTeam, with https://github.com/webprofusion/certify its really simple, to get a ssl cert from lets encrypt. Just install IIS and webprofusion/certify get a dyndns address and with some clicks you got a cert. Very easy for ssl beginners. But IIS certs are stored in the windows cert store and as far as is see emby only supports exported certs as files. With 90Days expire time its a hassle to always export the new cert and put it in emby. I will start writing a little script for me doing this, no worries. But if emby would support using certs from the windows cert store, ssl setup would be very easy for everyone (using windows). Have a good one, Tim edit: Sorry for the generic title, forgot to create a better one before sending Edited November 19, 2018 by motey
