Luke 42077 Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 Does your iptv provider allow you to configure the output format of the stream?
KingKoopa08 17 Posted January 20, 2019 Author Posted January 20, 2019 @@Luke No I am the provider and I don't have an option to change this stream type. Also for more info if I do use an iptv provider this doesn't happen. So I am thinking it is related to an hls stream. Keep in mind my streams dont have this issue on vlc or on a hls extension in Chrome.
BillOatman 596 Posted January 22, 2019 Posted January 22, 2019 (edited) I have noticed this happening more frequently since getting the new version. I'll upload a server log later. I have a "typical" commercial IPTV provider and it serves up a .ts stream. And my client is a shield. Edited January 22, 2019 by BillOatman
BillOatman 596 Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 Here you go. Happened at about 19:40 which should be near the bottom of both files. ffmpeg.log server.log
Luke 42077 Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 Does this happen if you play in the web app?
BillOatman 596 Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 I've never used the web app, but I will try it tonight if I can and see.
BillOatman 596 Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 It took a lot longer, but it eventually did happen a few times at the bottom of the file at about 19:51. No ffmpeg log was updated, so I am attaching the two that were. As a side note, great picture on the web app. I'll be bringing my surface pro to work during the next world cup HardwareDetection.log server.log
BillOatman 596 Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 And the ffmpeg log? Oh, the timestamp indicated that it hadn't changed since the day before. I'll attach it tonight.
BillOatman 596 Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 I wasn't 100% sure which one it would be, so I grabbed both possibilities. ffmpeg.log ffmpeg2.log
Luke 42077 Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 It seems like the server log is all Emby Theater playback and not the web app, right? On that topic i notice your emby theater is out of date so you may want to install the latest from the web site. thanks.
BillOatman 596 Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 Shows what I know, I thought Emby Theatre was the web app I'll run the right one and send logs
BillOatman 596 Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 (edited) How do I access the web app? I either seem to be running emby theater or emby mobile for chrome. Is the mobile whats considered the web app, or do I need to be outside my home network? Ahh I see the button at the top of this page. I'll try it now. Edited January 26, 2019 by BillOatman
BillOatman 596 Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 It stopped, after a few seconds continued, then stopped again at 12:11 which should be at the bottom of the files. Hopefully via the web app this time server.log ffmpeg.log ffmpeg2.log
