Emby iOS not detecting 4G->Wifi

I have watched movies on the bus on the way home from work a few times, over a 3G/4G connection, works fine. My Emby server on Synology NAS transcodes without problems. But if I stop the movie when I get of the bus, and resumes watching when I get home (connected to my wifi), the app doesn't seem to notice I'm on my own wifi again and continues to transcodes. If I force close the app and starts it again it works fine with direct-play.

Is this a known issue?

Hi ,the app currently doesn't switch server addresses on network changes unless there is a connection failure. It's something we'll look at improving in a future update. Thanks.

Soo, are you saying that in my case it's still downloading over 3G/4G even if I'm on my own wifi?

No, your phone switches to the wifi connection so that's what it uses. It's just using the external server address rather than the lan address.
