IOS App Send me to Safari?

When I launch the IOS app it is just a black screen with https://emby.media in the middle of it. That brings up a page abut emby and if I expand the menu and select sign in that takes me to safari where I can sign in and access my server, but it is all through the web interface and not the IOS app. There some configuration I need to go somewhere to do in the IOS app?

 

I tried removing and reinstalling the app, but that does not appear to have made any difference. 

 

Behavior is the same whether I am on my network or using cellular.

No, this is all on the local subnet.

Ok, please try this. Please force close the emby app to make sure it has shut down.

 

Then put this address into the safari address bar while the emby app is not running:

http://localhost:12344/index.html

Fixed by upgrading to Emby 4.
