ivaat 0 Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 Hi Just got setup two docker nodes with emby. They both use same storage. Issue is that one node works instantly. Other node shows wizard (like on first run). The other node sees just fine storage (mount points) and config is there. What causes this?

Hi. I overlooked an this case no log is needed as node 2 is not producing any yet. As noted both nodes use same storage. Even for config. Node 2 starts to display wizard. It was made from node 1 via docker save/load solution. Made sure that bind mounts are same with node 1 (including config). Can you help?
Luke 42077 Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 Ok that's not fully supported. We are not actively testing that. It will need it's own config. Thanks.

Luke 42077 Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 There's probably a conflict of some sort. The truth is I don't know the answer because I haven't tried this.

The truth is I don't know the answer because I haven't tried this. with docker very easy to try and mount via sshfs storage or nfs.. ill try to find out what causes it to invoke wizard as it does see all directories like node 1
Luke 42077 Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 Thanks ! For one, they can't use the same database files i can tell you that. The server locks them in exclusive mode.
ivaat 0 Posted November 16, 2018 Author Posted November 16, 2018 Got it working. Thank you for responding
ivaat 0 Posted November 16, 2018 Author Posted November 16, 2018 What was the solution? I had docker misconfigured for binding directories and therefore app thinked first time starting. also i made separate sqlite what i will sync. also separated logs dirs
