video but no sound?  neither?  what device is the client running on?  is your server transcoding or direct playing? have you tried turning up the volume?

I've been experiencing this recently on only one of my ShieldTV's and need to create a post but I suppose I'll just comment here.

 

I will upload logs from the server and from the device but not until tomorrow at the earliest.

Also seen this last night when trying to watch live TV on multiple different channels. Played a local file right after with no issues. Will grab some logs next time it happens.

 

Edit: I believe the audio for the live stream was 2-channel AAC

where are the sound settings on server seems like there arenone i switched to emby because crappy plex because of there errors connection to server has been lost plz help!!

Do you have sound in any other apps on your Shield TV? Or it it just Emby that has no sound?

there is sound everywhere but the video there is sound with trailers too

i went into my sound settings under advanced and turned off surround sound those advanced sound settings were not there before
