Live TV on Roku - retreiving - but never starts

I have seem similar posts to this on the forums but I still can not get things working.  Please advise next steps to take.  Here is my setup and what I have tried.

 

quad core 8 Gig ram  Win 7 64 bit as my server

TV tuner is Ethernet - HDHR Prime connect to Time Warner with tuning adapter.

 

K-Lite Codec_Pack_1040_Mega

 

Running Windows Media Center -

I can see all of the channels within WMC. Live as well as recorded.

 

MediaBrowser Server - Version 3.0.5211.41935

Media Browser Server is up to date

Running on ports 8096 and 8945

 

Server WMC is installed and running

- There are no check box marked on hide channels for DRM or encrypted, so all are viewable.

- It see the 3 tuners and 618 channels

Status tab - shows 

"Active Streams"

    Streaming Digital Cable channel 3 to [MediaBrowser^0]

 

I am able to view recorded TV on the Roku

 

I am not able to see live TV.  I do see the channel guide with channels and then shows starting at different times on the selected channel.  I then select the show to watch, It says retrieving, and I do see the status bar on the bottom fill, but that is where it hangs.

 

I have been able to get HDHR Fling to work, but it limits the available live channels to only those without DRM or encryption, which is very few.

Are the channels you are trying to play DRM or encrypted? So far I've only personally been able to get 5 channels or so working and those are only locals (ABC, NBC, CBS, CW, Fox). All the rest don't work because of encryption or DRM. So make sure what your trying to play is working.

None of the channels work on Roku within MB.  I am able to watch programming on WMC on the server on all of the channels that are in my guide.

Try lowering the bitrate on the Roku back to default (if you have changed it). If that doesn't work we will need to see the server logs, ffmpeg logs and possibly the server wmc logs (though that one will have to be looked at by someone familiar with that program). Thanks.

I am having the same issue. Mediabrowser opens stream and then just hangs.

 

Here is the part of the log for when it hangs. the last part just keeps repeating.

I just re read your op and

We are limited to non drm channels too is that chan drm or not? If so can you try a chan you know is not drm.

 

If that ch is not drm I have an idea on where to start but wont look at it until you can confirm the above.

@@booyacom first thing to do is post some logs so we can see what is happening.

 

A clean debug server log and a transcode log
