I'm getting Metadata and show descriptions from the 1988 Murphy Brown series season 1 even though this is a "new" show. How to fix the data there already and how to prevent this issue going forward?

This will be better with the 3.6 release. For now, you could turn off internet metadata for your recordings library and then recordings will just be based on guide data. Or you can fix manually using the identify feature after the fact.

Thanks for the lightning fast response!

These are recordings but stripped of commercials, compressed and re-containerized then moved into the TV Series Library by MCEBuddy. I think all epg data is lost and Emby data is then used.

If I use the identifier I need to continue with it after each episode until 3.6 comes out? Soon I hope!

Depends if they are getting saved into the same series folder or not. In the same series folder your might not have to.

No.. For speed of recording and processing I record to a SSD but after processed I move them to a spinner HDD. Guess I'm SoL.

I will turn off internet data anyhow and see what happens..

For whatever reason it is being read as season 1 and not season 11. I tried "Identify" to no avail. Do I need to modify the air date for each episode?

Thanks, @@Luke!

Check the naming against our supported naming conventions.

My folder / file structure is correct but upon looking my file names are from Season 1 in 1988. I took a look into the data in my xmltv file created by epg123 from SchedulesDirect and saw this for tonight's showing:

<title>Murphy Brown</title>
<sub-title>A Lifetime of Achievement</sub-title>
<desc>s01e07 The team joins Jim Dial at an eventful lifetime achievement award...

I believe I need to open a ticket with Schedules Direct so they can correct the season number to 11. Once MCEBuddy processes it, it fetches new data based on the wrong season number. Hopefully they can fix this soon but I've got 6 episodes to manually fix in Emby right now.
