Android tv refresh rate switching

Hi,

 

On my fire tv (pendant) the refresh rate correctly switches to match content. However on my android tv 7.2 (amlogic s912) even though the setting is enabled, there is no rate switching. Is that a bug or is it not supported on amlogic?

More than likely, it means it isn't supported.  Does the in-playback menu (last icon on OSD) contain an option to manually switch the display mode?

No, there isn't an option to switch refresh rate in the menu on amlogic. But the fire tv does.

Sounds like broken firmware notorious with Chinese Android boxes.
