Okler 1 Posted November 6, 2018 Posted November 6, 2018 Dear all, I can't find any information on limiting the download of offline media. I mark a complete TV show for download - this will flood my phone as well as my SD card. When I set to download only 10 items - it download 10 items but after watching it doesn't delete the watched episodes and downloads new ones. Is there a possibility to set a download quota (either amount of episodes or number of gigabytes (or set how many gigabytes should stay "free"))? The seen episodes are deleted automatically (this works perfect) but it don't download the next unseen episodes of the tv show. Thanks a lot
Luke 42078 Posted November 6, 2018 Posted November 6, 2018 Hi, yes we already have this. When you download from a folder you get these options:
Okler 1 Posted November 6, 2018 Author Posted November 6, 2018 Dear Luke, thanks a lot. I tried to describe it above (but I didn't know the exact translation in the english app). I set a item limit. I checked "download unwatched videos only" as well as an item limit of "6". The App downloaded 6 episodes out of 200 episodes. I watched the first 3 episodes, which were removed from offline media (until now everything was okay). I hoped, the app will download the next 3 unwatched episodes but it doesn't - so it is not usable for me.
Luke 42078 Posted November 6, 2018 Posted November 6, 2018 Did you check the box to automatically download new content?
Okler 1 Posted November 8, 2018 Author Posted November 8, 2018 (edited) Dear Luke, no I had not checked the box. After enabling this feature, it works perfectly. Perhaps you could add some short notes of this features into the documentation. I thought, this checkbox will do something else (for example scanning the servers HDD for new episodes) so I didn't activated it. Thanks a lot. Edited November 8, 2018 by Okler
