Is there any way to set a static background image for Home?

I'd like to place a simple background image for my home page.

 

I know you can set backdrop in the settings, but that simply grabs a random image from a movie and displays it transparent-like in the background.

 

I'd prefer to put a nice scenery background, or a nice textured background. Would look much nicer than a simple black backdrop.

 

Is this possible?

Sure, there is a close example here, bottom of that post.  Just need to change #loginPage to #indexPage.
