turn off annoying ads?

Upon firing up Emby on my nVidia Shield TV, a Halloween Ad/Banner appeared with sound.

 

Can this be disabled?

You can disable it under the settings. There will be a Christmas one coming up soon so you may want to do it now.

It wasn't an ad. It was a theme and Emby Team set a temporary category to give you the "Spooky" movies in your collection all in one place.

I actually like the graphical themes for halloween and christmas, but not the sound of the howling wolf or the 10 seconds of jingeling bells that appears every time you start emby, so an option to disable  the audio and the popup for season based themes would be perfect.
