Is it possible to enforce this for all users, from server-side?

They don't need those information. I prefer only me seeing them.

Hi, no, but more control over user settings is planned for future updates. Thanks.

This. Admin should be able to decide if it should be an option to the users to see and toggle. Where to put it? In the user profile settings that admin can see.

Technically the Admin has access all user's info for the most part not to say the user can't just change it though.

Users-select user and click Edit this user's profile, image and personal preferences and then Display

Yes, but the option could be disabled and hidden per user if admin decides that.

Edit: I have disabled it for my family but they could easily turn it on. But no biggie.

I would like to see this feature implemented.  There should be a way for Admin to turn this off if they choose.  I'm not comfortable with my drive path and file name spread out across the bottom of the screen along with other info.

I believe there should be a master switch for ON/OFF that turns on/off the Media Info Section altogether.  If you turn it on, then there should be more switches to allow the admin to turn on/off the drive path, and other sub sections/information.  Some people might not want the file path displayed but might like the other sections, or whatever they prefer.  In addition, there should be a checkbox or something saying (display for ADMIN only in clients) allowing admin to see the section but no one else.

My two cents.

Thank you.

Sorry I don't follow as there is a option and users do not see paths only admins.

But at the same time it is a USER setting that they can enable/disable at will.

At the same time I personally don't see a issue with anyone seeing this info but I guess it is just me.

Hey thanks for that info.  Being new to EMBY I am unfamiliar with many things.  I wasn't aware the file path was admin only.  That's good news to my ears.

As far as the other info in the Media info section, I am aware users can setup their own preferences, but, I agree with others on here that it should be a site wide (is that the correct term, maybe server wide) setting under admin control.  Some admins probably do not want to show the info (as stated in their previous comments).  I understand some people do not care, but others do.  I personally, do not like all that info there and use a custom CSS to hide it, but understand that only works in a webpage client, not in app clients.  I feel it would be nice to give admins more control over the content displayed as opposed to less control.

Thank you.
