Media is duplicating

Just decided to try out Emby, as Plex is becoming near unusable.. Loaded up my Shows and Movies. Once it finished scanning, i noticed quite a few movies had identical duplicates, as well as most of my tv episodes. Re-installed Emby twice, both times removing the libraries, as well as telling it to destroy all cache etc. The same movies are getting duplicated. I'll add screenshots, as well as a log.

 

EDIT: I'm seeing an ffprobe error in the logs for each piece of media that's being duplicated;

You didn't point two libraries to the same location did you?

Are you sure you don't have duplicate files? Unlike Plex, they do not combine on Emby

Most don't do this currently after switching from Plex is my guess (in our case at least) but good to know!

I saw a post saying the ffprobe error was happening before the latest beta, so i updated. They're all gone, except for one movie. There only one file for the movie. The folder structure is Movies/(Title) - (year)/ (Title) - (year).mkv....

 

 

Just decided to remove the file/rescan, issue was still happening.. Removed all three movies in the series scanned/added back. Problems gone.. Does/Will the premiere go on sale?

After moving my files the error occurred again, both with movies and tv episodes, after checking everything out, and "showing all files" in windows, it seems at some point windows created random "._[MovieTitle]" files in some folders, after deleting them everything fine. Just wanted post an update in case anyone in the future has some issues!

I had a similar problem where the icons duplicated on all my of Emby recorded/DVR shows but not on any other media. Did anything change related to recording naming conventions in version updates? This happened a while ago, and I have since deleted the media but it has long perplexed me as to what could have caused this.
