davesurfer 18 Posted October 28, 2018 Posted October 28, 2018 So before, when my HTPC starts up it I have Emby Theater automatically start up and then it logs in automatically. Now, I have to select the server, then choose a user to login with. How can I get a user to automatically log in like it used to?? Thanks!

davesurfer 18 Posted October 29, 2018 Author Posted October 29, 2018 Well this started a couple months ago, it always used to just log in automatically to the "HTPC" user. To reproduce it? I just close Emby Theater and then run it again, the screen above is what shows up.

Thanks. So the option to automatically log in a user that doesn't have a password isn't available anymore? This user never has had a password and it's always logged in automatically before. So are you saying I have to create a password for the user, then choose "remember me" and then it will log this user in automatically so I don't have to select a user?

I know that @@Luke you said you guys haven't done anything to remove this but something definitely has changed. I have a password on my account but the xbox is not remembering my login either.

I know that @@Luke you said you guys haven't done anything to remove this but something definitely has changed. I have a password on my account but the xbox is not remembering my login either. I've got 3 accounts and my main account auto logins with no password using XB1X app. I'm just using a local account, no connect, if that makes a difference. I've also never logged out, so not sure if it will remember it again if I do. Each profile on the XB1X has it's own Emby user which auto logons Edited November 1, 2018 by FrostByte
davesurfer 18 Posted March 2, 2019 Author Posted March 2, 2019 Just an update, this is still happening for me. But now, when the PC restarts, it's asking for the server to connect to. I'm assuming the server hasn't loaded yet, but it would be nice if there was a way to load Emby Theatre after the server was started. I used to do this by starting MediaBrowser (old) as a service and then putting the shortcut in the Start Menu to start up the Mediabrowser plugin. Any way to do this now without having to login to the server, then have to select the user?
