live tv : retain epg information if provider epg goes down

hello i'm currently using an  iptv subscription  who provides and epg via .xml. The providers epg seems to go down often but the channels still work. emby fetches a new epg as a scheduled task (approximately 6 days of programming ) .If the providers epg is down then i get  a blank program guid  in emby . can it be changed so even if the provider epg goes down, emby wont update the epg?
