Hi there, what version of the Android TV app are you running?

Posted (edited)

I'm using 1.6.50g

I'm seeing the same problem in Chrome and Android Tv.

Can you show a screenshot of the issue in Chrome? There's a very good chance it will just have to be reported to Chrome as we are relying on the browser video player to render the subtitles. Thanks.

Sorry for the late response. Here's an example from Chrome.

(Like I mentioned, I'm seeing the the exact problem also with SHIELD TV)

I'm guessing it's an issue with the font being used. We will probably need to find a font with better Hebrew support.

Thanks, I hope this will get resolved soon.

To the Hebrew speaking community this is a major issue as 99% of us watch content with subtitles.

We are still looking into this, thanks.

Do you see it with other browsers?

I only checked in Chrome. My main problem is the Nvidia Shield to be honest.

We'd like to solve both. Are you able to try another browser and compare? Thanks !

No problem. I'm seeing the same problem on firefox.

For the browser, please try Emby Server 4.1.0.9+ once available for your platform.

Have you tried the latest update to the Emby Apple TV app with the new video player?

Thanks.

No idea.. I don't own an Apple TV, just a SHIELD.

Any idea if it's fixed for the SHIELD with 4.1.0.9+ (once available) ?
