alexxx 2 Posted October 24, 2018 Posted October 24, 2018 Hi, I accidently deleted my folder with all the metadata-images from emby. So new people show up with a picture but people that already existed in the emby-database aren't populated with a new image when scanning the media library. Is there anything that I can tell emby to download all the images again? The only way I found is to click on the person, click on the image-missing-icon and search for a new image. But that is a little bit time consuming for all people... And another bug: When editing a library, the save-button is missing, so all changes gets discarded when leaving the editing window (see screenshot)... Thanks in advance! Alex
Happy2Play 9780 Posted October 24, 2018 Posted October 24, 2018 (edited) The only way I would think is doing a Refresh with replace all images at library level. As I don't believe the database will know that images are missing. Other options maybe manually clearing the Person Images from the database and Refresh Missing. Have you tried running the Refresh People task? As for Library save button, there isn't one. When you back out of the menu every is saved. Is that not happening for you? alexxx 2 Posted October 24, 2018 Author Posted October 24, 2018 Yeah, I already did a refresh and with that, the media posters where added again, but for the people the images are still missing. When I have to do this directly in the database, what rows should I delete? I think, the relevant file is library.db? No, when I re-enter the library-settings, they are resetted to the settings before...
Happy2Play 9780 Posted October 24, 2018 Posted October 24, 2018 (edited) In the library.db look at the TypedBasedItems table, filter Type column to Person and look at the Images column. (assuming you are on 3.5.3.0) **I performed this test by deleting a person from my metadata/people folder and cleared that persons Image in database and performed a Refresh Missing without replace all images and that person returned. @@Luke Normal Library Refresh with replace all images did not work. What os/browser are you using that library settings are not saving? Edited October 24, 2018 by Happy2Play 1
Luke 42078 Posted October 24, 2018 Posted October 24, 2018 if you run refresh people first then it will realize the images are gone. then you can refresh media after that.
alexxx 2 Posted October 24, 2018 Author Posted October 24, 2018 @Luke: I did that (people refresh, than library scan and additional refresh for a single movie), but it didn't worked either. @Happy2Play: Thanks, I will test that I'm using Debian for the server an Windows 10/ Chrome 69 for the client
