Jrod696 28 Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 The Backup and Restore plugin is creating duplicate files in plugins > configurations folder, the files have a different case which on the FreeBSD system is no issue, but backing up to a NTFS hard drive or copying to local machine to do a restore causes issues. See screenshot below.
Luke 42077 Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 Hi, I would try deleting the older ones and then let's see if it happens again. thanks.
Jrod696 28 Posted October 23, 2018 Author Posted October 23, 2018 I deleted all backups, restarted the server and then ran the backup schedule and it still did it.
Luke 42077 Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 Sorry I meant deleting the files from the source folder where they were coming from.
Jrod696 28 Posted October 23, 2018 Author Posted October 23, 2018 Where are they located in the FreeNAS jail?
Jrod696 28 Posted October 23, 2018 Author Posted October 23, 2018 (edited) Where are they located in the FreeNAS jail? Scratch that, I found them at /var/db/emby-server/plugins/configurations/ And once I removed them from there and reran the backup they were gone. Crisis Averted! Ok maybe not a crisis but an annoyance nonetheless. Edited October 23, 2018 by Jrod696
