twiggy2cents 2 Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 I have a 1st gen roku streaming stick set up offsite and I notice that I have an almost constant authentication alert on the dashboard every 15 minutes. I'm not sure why it is doing this. I dont really mind it, just curious as to what is going on. Log.txt
ebr 16185 Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 I couldn't find any access by the Roku app in that log (lots of errors by the Roku thumbnail plugin though). Are you sure this is the Roku?
twiggy2cents 2 Posted October 23, 2018 Author Posted October 23, 2018 That's a good point. It's possible it is a Samsung phone. Do you think i need to turn on debug logging to see what is causing it?
Luke 42080 Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 Please see my response here: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/64240-what-setting-stops-the-frequent-check-ins/ Thanks.
twiggy2cents 2 Posted October 24, 2018 Author Posted October 24, 2018 Off topic but ebr noticed it. It seems the roku thumbnail generator errors are that when it is running as a scheduled task it is trying to create bif's for unaired episodes. Assume it just dirties up the log I'm fine with that but that is what I see with it.
