Emby Media Server doesn't recognize 4K Remux?

Hello,

I have the following problem: I downloaded the movie "I am Legend" in 4K Remux. It's a 50gb file.

When I try to import it in Emby by scanning my library, it recognizes the file but it doesn't show any media info or audio/subtitle options at all. The file doesn't play as well. It's loading forever.
I've posted a screenshot below.

Does Emby support 4K Remux or is the file too big for Emby to handle?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi, try running a library scan, or if one is already running, try just waiting for it to finish. Thanks.

To add to what Luke said, there is definitely no issues with those files generally.

I have a pretty vast collection of 4K HDR remuxes now some which are far larger than 50GB.

Certainly, in Emby Theatre and on the Shield, they play back flawlessly.

What client do you play back on?

@@Luke thanks for your reply. The library scan did complete succesfully but it didn't solve the problem. I downloaded the new Ant-Man movie in 4K Remux as well to test if it maybe was a problem with the file itself but I'm encountering the same problem with Ant-Man as well.

@@Hitsville I use Emby Media Server to play files on my Samsung tv but the problem already occurs on the server side. VLC plays the file correctly though but Emby doesn't seem to be able to handle it. Or am I missing codecs or something?

Try manually refreshing that item.  If there is still no media info shown at the bottom of that screen after that, please post the log from when you did the refresh.

Thanks.
