I was generating blocks in my minecraft universe, and it has been filling up ram.. But didn't cap it (16gb), then Emby stopped responding to users, and i couldnt restart Emby with an error popup in Windows. Restart was the only solution. People could still login, but can't stream anything.

Hi there, please attach the complete emby server log. thanks.

Posted

That isn't supported. You'd have to do a fresh install of stable. Thanks.

Posted

Yeah I know. I have made a fresh new install. Hopefully it will be stable now. Hope you can make use of my logs to improve the beta. :)

Loved some of the features, and looking forward to some of em on stable build.

Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback.

I'm having a strange issue with a new install.. I'm using the portable version, and when I try to browse my media, the server stops responding, when I try to restart, a pop-up in windows says, unable to restart server. I have to manually disable emby in task manager. What's the issue? How can I sort this?

Posted

Can you show a screenshot of that popup? Thanks.

Posted

Unfortunately that is so blurry that I can't even read it but I would just shut down and then start up again. Thanks.

Strange.. I opened up the screenshot and it was not blurry. :P

Anyways, i found the issue, it was associated with the .nfo files in directories. I deleted every .nfo file i could find, and that sorted the issue.

Posted

It seems extremely unlikely that this could result in those SSL errors, but thanks for the info. I am glad to hear you are seeing better results.

Posted

The ssl errors was because I used the wrong password. I corrected that. But the nfo files fixed the issue for me.

Thanks for the feedback.
