Valkrey 0 Posted October 22, 2018 Posted October 22, 2018 Just updated to Emby for IOS 1.6.4 and can no longer play videos from the app on my iPad. Running server version 3.5.3.0. If I connect using safari on the iPad it plays fine.
Luke 42077 Posted October 22, 2018 Posted October 22, 2018 Hi, what happens when you try to play a video?
Valkrey 0 Posted October 23, 2018 Author Posted October 23, 2018 The app crashes and disappears, no error code or anything.
Valkrey 0 Posted October 23, 2018 Author Posted October 23, 2018 It's a 4th Generation iPad model MD510LL/A running IOS 10.3.3
Luke 42077 Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 Ok thanks. It looks like there's an ios 10 specific issue we'll need to release an update for.

gadmin 0 Posted November 9, 2018 Posted November 9, 2018 I'm having this issue with EMBY 1.6.6 on an iPad Pro 10.5" (MPDY2LL/A) using IOS 12.1. When I hit play, it closes.

gadmin 0 Posted November 9, 2018 Posted November 9, 2018 Video files. MKV H264 AAC for one particular video. It doesn't seem to be happening on all of them, though. After the iOS program crashing a few times and reopening, the video will play.
Luke 42077 Posted November 9, 2018 Posted November 9, 2018 Can you provide a copy of the media info for that file from the web app? thanks.

Luke 42077 Posted November 9, 2018 Posted November 9, 2018 Very odd. Can you please supply a copy of this video file for testing? Thanks.
gadmin 0 Posted November 15, 2018 Posted November 15, 2018 Very odd. Can you please supply a copy of this video file for testing? Thanks. Apologies for the delay on responding. I usually sync the videos to my device when I travel. I wasn't able to sync or watch a couple of the videos. When I got to my destination hotel, I tried to watch, and it's been working fine ever since...odd indeed.
