Just updated to Emby for IOS 1.6.4 and can no longer play videos from the app on my iPad.  Running server version 3.5.3.0.  If I connect using safari on the iPad it plays fine.

Hi, what happens when you try to play a video?

The app crashes and disappears, no error code or anything.

What iPad model and version of iOS?

It's a 4th Generation iPad model MD510LL/A running IOS 10.3.3

Ok thanks. It looks like there's an ios 10 specific issue we'll need to release an update for.

Can confirm the same issue using the same iPad on the same version.

I'm having this issue with EMBY 1.6.6 on an iPad Pro 10.5" (MPDY2LL/A) using IOS 12.1.  When I hit play, it closes.

Hi, what are you trying to play?

Video files.  MKV H264 AAC for one particular video. It doesn't seem to be happening on all of them, though.  After the iOS program crashing a few times and reopening, the video will play.

Can you provide a copy of the media info for that file from the web app? thanks.

Very odd. Can you please supply a copy of this video file for testing? Thanks.

Apologies for the delay on responding.  I usually sync the videos to my device when I travel.  I wasn't able to sync or watch a couple of the videos.  When I got to my destination hotel, I tried to watch, and it's been working fine ever since...odd indeed.
