Remote control with downloaded content

I syncd content from an emby server to an iPad connected to a tv. Playing that downloaded content, trying to use emby remote control to skip commercials, etc but it doesn’t work. Just shows nothing on progress bar, etc. is that because it isn’t playing from the emby server?

Correct. It would be nice to eventually hook these things together, but we're not there yet. Thanks.
