williamdosa 6 Posted October 16, 2018 Posted October 16, 2018 (edited) Plex just chose to shut down this incredibly useful part of their service, and that was previously the key difference that kept me using Plex over Emby. For those not familiar, Plex had a Plex-It bookmarklet for the browser and an email address too, and you could find any video on the web and "Plex-It" to watch it later on the TV. Both my wife and I did this constantly, bookmarking YouTube shows and trailers and such, and then watching them over meals. Now Plex has chosen to remove this feature. Is there any chance something similar will be coming to Emby soon? I'd switch in a heartbeat as it was so handy. I know YouTube has its own "Watch Later" bookmarking feature but the YouTube channel on our Roku is so annoying I hate using it. It was SO much nicer watching via Plex. https://downloader.vip/ccleaner/ https://www.happywheels.vip/ https://vlc.onl/ Edited October 16, 2018 by williamdosa
Luke 42079 Posted October 16, 2018 Posted October 16, 2018 Hi, couldn't you create a watch later playlist and just add the items to the playlist?
Spaceboy 2573 Posted October 16, 2018 Posted October 16, 2018 These are not just movies or tv shows, it’s ANY online video. I’ve seen something like this before
Luke 42079 Posted October 16, 2018 Posted October 16, 2018 Ok, for online videos, @@techywarrior has created a Chrome extension that can help with this. 1
