Recommended Posts

Have installed Report Plugin 1.0.15 on Version 3.5.3.0

But it seems to be broken and not displaying properly

See attached file

Everything works fine for me with Windows server v3.5.3.0 and plugin v1.0.15.0.

Looks like it's an issue with Chrome - will reinstall it and see if the issue remains

Displays properly in Edge

So the issue is because at some point I moved to Emby Beta and then moved back to a stable release

Chrome still considers I am on the beta version and can't display properly the reports page

Have uninstalled Chrome, cleared its cache, Incognito mode, signed out and deleted the servers but nothing helps

Any solution at Chrome or Emby level?

If you are signing in to app.emby.media you always see this as the online web app is 99% of the time ahead of the stable release.

Well this is not supported, so i would expect you'll have other problems as well. A fresh install is probably  your best bet.

A fresh install of Emby was made yesterday

Fixed for a while

Had to clear all data saved in Chrome (except user/pass)

Somehow it's painful to lose these info because of a cache issue

But then again, after a few hours, it logged as Beta Server

Did you read what happy2play said earlier?

Yes I read... but I have reasons to believe this is not the issue.

On Edge, it does show the current version whenever I use it.

Once it displays the Beta server on Chrome, I have the report bug from my first post.

How are you connecting to your server in Edge and Chrome?

Everyone gets the same thing, first one is via app.emby.media and second is via wanip/ddns.

Also the Devices list really means nothing when you are talking about a browser.  It just means at some point you connected to the version number.

Thanks - Now that makes sense

So whenever I log to the server through the app.emby.media URL the report display is broken

But is fine if I fill in the server IP in the URL bar of Chrome

No it is not broken, as the online version is using updated code passing through to your server.  So you will see differences in ui and settings.

But then Report shouldn't be available in the app version if it doesn't work

Or is it only broken for me?

The online web app is a little ahead of your server version. This will be resolved following the next release of the server.

Workaround for now would be to use your local web app. Thanks.

Thanks Luke

PS : Please note that on the latest beta version, the report couldn't display more than 500 entries (and therefore I couldn't extract a file with all episodes)
