cbenard 0 Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Hello all. I've been using 2.x for a while and I upgraded mainly for the ability to use the Chromecast. However, Chromecast and iOS apps are not working. Playback from the local PC works fine. I haven't tried Media Center extenders yet. The first issue I'd like to get resolved is that when I start playback from the iOS device (version 1.5) from the server (Version 3.0.5211.41935), the following is logged, and playback never begins on the iOS device: http://pastie.org/private/yrj2lw1fqcgfnjopoekmyq The main bit (I think) is: 2014-04-11 19:06:59.2900 Debug - HttpServer: HTTP GET http://192.168.0.3:8096/mediabrowser/Videos/b7f9a0bab7f7ef490db2a408242a5d42/stream.m3u8?MaxWidth=568&TimeStampOffsetMs=1&deviceId=CA9AA8F0-3B4F-4F9A-99B1-56205669F2F0&AppendBaselineStream=true&BaselineStreamAudioBitRate=64000 2014-04-11 19:06:59.2900 Error - DtoUtils: ServiceBase<TRequest>::Service Exception A video bitrate is required System.ArgumentException at MediaBrowser.Api.Playback.Hls.BaseHlsService.<ProcessRequestAsync>d__2b.MoveNext() 2014-04-11 19:06:59.2900 Error - HttpServer: Error processing request for /mediabrowser/Videos/b7f9a0bab7f7ef490db2a408242a5d42/stream.m3u8?MaxWidth=568&TimeStampOffsetMs=1&deviceId=CA9AA8F0-3B4F-4F9A-99B1-56205669F2F0&AppendBaselineStream=true&BaselineStreamAudioBitRate=64000 A video bitrate is required ServiceStack.HttpError No Stack Trace Available I have tried various bit rate settings in the app, as well as various bit rate settings in Advanced -> Transcoding, but the same error is always logged. I haven't tried much with the Chromecast yet, as this isn't working. Hopefully this helps with the Chromecast, but if not, I'll make a separate thread for it. Thanks!
