Guest asrequested Posted October 10, 2018 Posted October 10, 2018 Nice! Don't put it close to you rig. I had mine close, and it turns out it was causing some interference with the radio signals. So I moved it about 6ft, and I noticed some improvement. 1

I'm not sure if I'm going to try and migrate the os and files to the SSD from my spinup drive or if I am going to take both drives to the local computer shop and ask how much they charge to do something like that. I suppose I could start from scratch, but not sure if I have the patience to do it. In any case SSD, yeah! Edited October 11, 2018 by chef

chef 3810 Posted October 28, 2018 Author Posted October 28, 2018 (edited) I have finally reinstalled windows on my solid state drive. Really quick loading. I had some problems with drivers on my last install and it seemed like a great time to update! Also got my ubiquity access point working. I'm going to get a couple more when we remodel the house. My network is: Unfi USG Pro4 Unfi 16 port PoE Unifi 16 port SFP+ aggregate switch If you get the XG switch, you can buy some ConnectX-2 NICs for just a few bucks on ebay.
