Question about Roku chapter thumbnail generation

While I wait for the next few days for the .bif files to be generated I had a question stemming from a 2015 thread.  Does Roku now allow bif chapter files on transcoded media?  Expanding on that question, does it allow .bif files on on the fly repackackaging the container?

Yes, yes and yes.

 

Roku supports bif files for all media regardless of playback method.
