Dynamic Subtitles on client

Hi,

 

Using the built-in exoplayer, i cant see any way of downloading subtitles as needed.

 

Is there any other recommended external player that allows this, including streaming.

An external player is not likely to solve your issue as it won't be able to relate the subs to the content.

 

We have an open feature request for in-app downloading.

Bugger.......as usual there seems to be no ETA on the feature request, so i wont be holding my breath.
