jvsmithjr 0 Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 I am having constat stops and starts when playing some of the TV Shows in my library I used the sendlogs utility to upload the logs as sendlogs_DS214_synology_evansport_214play_20181008T175600UTC.tgz I've disabled DLNA and set FFMPEG required to 0.0.0 Not sure what else to try.
Luke 42077 Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 Hi there, can we look at an example? Please attach the information requested in how to report a problem. thanks !
jvsmithjr 0 Posted October 8, 2018 Author Posted October 8, 2018 How do you export the logs off a Synology DS214play? I used the sendlogs utility and it gave me the name of the file and said it had sent the files for review.
jvsmithjr 0 Posted October 9, 2018 Author Posted October 9, 2018 Attached are the logfiles sendlogs_20181008T174658UTC.log sendlogs_20181008T175600UTC.log

solabc16 379 Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 (edited) Hello @@jvsmithjr Can you be more specific as to what the issue is? i.e. what specifically are you doing when coming across the issue The logs look ok as far as system stability is concerned, but I can see software transcoding attempts that the 'evansport' based machines don't have the raw processing power for. e.g. Stream mapping: Stream #0:0 -> #0:0 (vc1 (native) -> h264 (libx264)) Stream #0:1 -> #0:1 (dts (dca) -> aac (native)) frame= 270 fps=4.8 q=28.0 size=N/A time=00:00:11.22 bitrate=N/A speed=0.201x frame= 272 fps=4.8 q=28.0 size=N/A time=00:00:11.32 bitrate=N/A speed=0.201x frame= 274 fps=4.8 q=28.0 size=N/A time=00:00:11.41 bitrate=N/A speed=0.201x frame= 276 fps=4.8 q=28.0 size=N/A time=00:00:11.51 bitrate=N/A speed=0.201x Best - James Edited October 9, 2018 by solabc16
