Does Emby require WAN for in house use?

Whenever my ISP goes down, devices like my iPad or iPhone can’t connect to my Emby server. I have not tested every device in my house but my iOS devices I am testing right now. Shouldn’t they just work over the LAN as long as everything has an IP? Help appreciated.

Well, that depends on exactly how you are trying to connect to the server but, yes, generally that should be true.

Turns out my ISP provide router/modem was the culprit. I bridged it to another router and I have not experience this issue since.
