steve1977 67 Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 There are more and more music albums that include a few musicvideos as part of a music album. I understand current Emby implementation allows me to add the music part to the music library and the musicvideo part to the msucivideo library. I'd like to have both part of the music library to match the artist intent that this is one album and keep it how it is is in itunes. All my files (music and musicvideo) are in mp3/m4a and mp4/m4v. Also the musicvideo files are perfectly tagged using musicbrainz. An example of such album is https://musicbrainz.org/release/f74c6ec2-7319-406b-9910-a6c3fe940176. More context is https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/55656-music-video-album/. Thanks for considering! 1

Luke 42079 Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 It's a great idea for the future. Please explore the community to find similar feature requests and add your votes to them. Thanks !
unisoft 352 Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 No, don't like this as cover art for music and videos are different ratios for a start. If done must be an option on the library settings to opt in to it!
Luke 42079 Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 Why would an option be needed? Couldn't you just make sure your albums don't have any video files inside them?
unisoft 352 Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 I thought it meant MOVING the music video library into music. If the two types of library can still exist after proposed change, then I'll keep quiet, I just prefer the current way:) 1
