benjamintodd 0 Posted October 6, 2018 Posted October 6, 2018 Hi All, I'm trying to set up Emby with HDHomeRun Premium. I'm able to enter my user name and password and emby asks for my country, zip, and gives me a list of services including HDHomeRun Premier (East and West). If I choose one of the HDHomeRun Premier setups, emby accepts it, says it is downloading the lineup but after it's done refreshing I don't see the schedule. I am able to tune the channels via the HDHomeRun app and the HDHomeRun web app shows the channels present. Any thoughts on what's going on? Attached is the log. Thanks,Ben Log.zip
Luke 42077 Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 Sounds like you either: Removed live tv from your emby user's home screen (in home screen settings) Or, restricted that emby user from being allowed to use live tv
benjamintodd 0 Posted October 7, 2018 Author Posted October 7, 2018 Not sure how I would have done that. Plus if I switch from HDHomRun premier to Antenna everything seems to display correctly as shown in this image.
Luke 42077 Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 Well you should be using the antenna lineup, if that's what your channels are. You can then add a second schedules direct lineup for premium.
benjamintodd 0 Posted October 7, 2018 Author Posted October 7, 2018 Well you should be using the antenna lineup, if that's what your channels are. You can then add a second schedules direct lineup for premium. Even if I add a second lineup for Premium I still don't get any new channels displayed. With the attached screenshot I would expect that there would be the premium channels at channel 1000 and above like I see in the HDHomeRun app (see second screenshot). Is that not correct? If not where would the HDHomeRun Premium channels be? Thanks, Ben
Solution Luke 42077 Posted October 7, 2018 Solution Posted October 7, 2018 There's nothing Emby can do to make the channels show up. They have to be supplied to Emby by your HD Homerun. You may want to check the HD Homerun web interface to make sure they're enabled for export to other apps. 1
benjamintodd 0 Posted October 7, 2018 Author Posted October 7, 2018 Ah, got it. The HDHomeRun wasn't associated with the Premium service. It was still in demo mode. Once I associated the HDHomeRun with the service the channels showed up. Thanks for pointing out that the HDHomeRun needed to export the channels. It caused me to check the web interface again. Ben
