Newbie Emby

 Hello All I am new to Emby I downloaded it today ( Sat 06 Oct) 

 

I have managed to slowly work my way through it all but one thing has stumped me

 

I used Plex and with this I am able to access without having my computer switched on,

 

Now I work away from home and this would be nice if I can access Emby the same way and then I can get rid of Plex.  Is there something Im not doing right. I cant access Emby on my phone Tablet or Firestick without having my PC on 24/7

I have my media on my pc and my Dropbox Account When I used Plex I used to access the app and this would use my media via Dropbox so that I did not have to have my home pc on 24/7  i think I have linked up Dropbox correctly to mby but cant access the app offline it tells me the server can not be reached

Ahhh thats a shame I wanted to get away from Plex Im fed up with it spluttering all the time and this looked better. Ok  thanks for your advice but this is not for me as I am not home all the time and cant leave my pc running
