Recently, I don't know why I can't access Windows emby server by installing Android client and web through data traffic outside.I guess it's because the server version was upgraded from 3.5.2.0 to 3.5.3.0, and there was no problem with 3.5.2.0 before. Server hardware and software have not made any changes, and have been stable in garage operation. The screenshot is as follows。Home LAN access everything is normal

Hi, what does the error message say?

I know what's going on. Chinese broadband operators do not assign fixed IP to household users. Once the router is restarted or for other reasons, different public network IPS will be obtained. Emby server can not automatically identify, and new public network IPS need to be added manually. That's all

How often does the IP change?

How often does the IP change?

I don't know. Most ordinary broadband users don't need fixed public network ip. The replacement interval should be very long. Manual restart routers will be replaced.

Hi, what does the error message say?

You cannot connect to the selected server now. Please ensure that the server is currently running.

Are you using Emby Connect, or are you typing in the address manually?

Using EMBY connection, the server under the account appears, click on the connection will appear as shown in the above prompt, unsuccessful, and then manually enter the public network ip, successfully entered

Ok so I think the Emby Connect feature probably just needs to react quicker to the IP change.
