Hey everyone,

I was running emby portable 64 bit no concerns, I installed the beta it showed my server clicked on it I am using apple running beta there and it was a never-ending loading screen. I Forced closed the app opened again clicked forget server try to add via connect and manually entering the server it loads for two seconds then kicks back to the screen asking to connect via web address or connect. I have uninstalled the sever re-added the stable version still no luck same concern, installed portable version again same concern it will not connect to the server. I've even tried the stable version of apple tv app and still made no difference.

Any ideas here?

Thank you.

Hi.  Please see: How to Report a Problem

But, also, you cannot go back and forth between beta and stable.  Once you installed the beta, your database was migrated (as long as you waited long enough for that to happen) and now the stable is not going to understand it.

So, at this point, you are going to need to either stay on the beta or start with a fresh install I believe.  If you still have this issue after doing one of those, please provide the information requested above.

Thanks!

Removed all files with revo uninstaller, re-installed beta only version. Sever showed 3 servers with same web address I removed all 3 attempts to re-add with connecting but it has stayed on the loading screen for 15 mins. When I back out I got a weird error something " opps something went wrong with the stack?"

Try manually entering the address of the server you're connecting to. Thanks.

It say on the loading screen for over an hour, when I go back it says "oops something went wrong, document not found on the stack".

I've tried to connect using my laptop through google chrome and it won't connect either says connection failure. I can connect to the host address directly from my server though.

After checking some firewall rules I noticed two were blocked by Emby. I allowed both connections & all is good now!!!.

I wanted to thank you both for even replying, means a lot when the devs are here to help.
