No music album cover image on small screens

Hi,

 

if I'm browsing through my music albums on my PC (web browser) and click on an album, I see the album cover image on top of the screen (above the list of songs).

 

 

If I do the same thing on my smartphone or tablet (web browser or android app) or if I reduce the size of the browser window on the PC, the layout changes (which is OK) and instead of the album cover image the image of the album artist is displayed.

 

 

Is it possible to have the album cover image on small screens too? Or is this a bug?

It's currently by design because using the square album image there will result in stretching and distorting it. It's something we can review for a future update. Thanks.

How about using borders / empty space on the sides to avoid stretching and distorting. Like this:

 

 

Would be much better than using the wrong image.
