Chromecast never completes load

Hi,

 

Ive only just set up my Emby server and everything works great except casting. Whenever I cast it conects fine, loads the videos image screen but then it gets stuck showing the loading animation. I've tried casting from. Android app to TV and to Chrome browser and from chrome browser to TV and get the same issue.

 

Any help would be great

Hi, it sounds like your browser can connect to your Chromecast, but your Chromecast cannot connect to your emby server. Do you have any kind of special network setup that might be causing this? Thanks.

Hi Luke,

 

Thank you for the help. It's a standard home wireless network, with the server on cable and the TV/phone on the same wireless. I have been using Plex before switching to Emby and it worked without any issue

Don't know why but I tried again and everything seems to be working fine. Must have been something to do with the original library scan still running in the background or something.
