Music and Music Videos (my normal gripe)

Guys been a while...  A few months back I decided to kill my Plex and go back to EMBY...  Was so excited to have shuffle in the Beta Roku App!  

 

Then my reality kicked back in.  The load times for music is night and day between the two.  Using the web interface on the server I am talking 1 to 2 minutes for the first "Recently added" screen to populate.  Plex about 10 seconds.  Same with music videos.  Searching for an artist returns results pretty quickly, but find a lot of the time selecting a result will cause emby to do the spinning wheel of thinking (but ultimately not show the selected result).  Server client or roku client.

 

All of the rest of my collections (Movies / TV / Pictures) have similar load time between the two products.

 

Is it MY server or is it just over looked by the community as the primary function to most is on the movie / tv  side?

 

I am also curious as to why Album Artists and Artists selections on the web interface has no graphics (it does recognize album folder / cover).  This translates over to roku app as well.  I have cover / folder / logo / backdrop (sometime multiple) / banner.  But no graphics appear unless I manually load them into emby one at a time.  Do not see a use local media as an option when setting up the music library.

 

Would also be nice if you could duplicate # - Z selection (on the right side of the screen) in music videos like you have in music.
