Client 'Live' check...

I can usually connect to a channel with Emby using ServerWMC, but If there is a problem, especially on the client side...(Roku TV, Web, Samsung TV ) a crash may occur on the client and I'm forced to restart, but on the server side...the channel is still running and taking up Hard drive space.

How can I stop this from happening. Shouldn't there be a agent or task to see if the calling client is still alive and to terminate the channel from caching if not (ie.. once every 5 minutes)..?

moving this to general windows.. sorry for the miss post

I not entirely sure if this is a Emby specific issue or ServerWMC... or even both...

It should do this within a few minutes.

unfortunately It didn't. after a few days of the roku issue I posted in the roku thread here,,,the caching was going on 3 streams until I ran out of HD space...

Had to boot into safe mode and delete those files...

Thanks, we'll test this out and make sure that if you force close the app during live tv playback, that the server recognizes this and terminates the live stream.
