Library Dynamic Images Problem

I just migrated my server to a new computer, and I'm having issues getting Emby to correctly propagate the dynamic images for my video libraries.

 

Music is working fine, but Movies and TV are both showing the same covers repeated 4 times, rather than 4 different covers for the dynamic library art. 

 

I've gone to 'edit images' and deleted the primary image, and it just does the same thing with a different cover.

 

I've rebooted the computer, scanned my libraries, and even updated metadata (scan for new and updated files) to no avail.

 

Is there anything else I can try to get this going?

 

I may go the custom / user created image route, but I'd like to get this working for my own edification.

If you mean right click > edit images > deleting 'primary' then yes. If there's another place I need to delete them, no.

Windows to Windows. I misspoke when I said I migrated emby, I migrated my RAID and files but the Emby configuration is fresh.

 

I blew up the images again, and I'm going to walk away from it completely until tomorrow and see what happens. Maybe I disrupted something when I kept messing with it.

T believe stable version requires two library scans, second scan generates library images.  I believe the fix for this is in the next release 3.6 series

I'll report back in a few days. I need to let the rest of my hosted apps run through a few days worth of scheduled tasks to see what needs work, and I need a sanity break myself.

 

The fact that the only issue I ran into was a cosmetic one just strengthens my faith in this software, though.

 

It just happens to be the first thing you see when you log into the UI, which figures

So not only did the issue never resolve itself, I ended up moving emby again (didn't like the idea of my gaming PC also being my server for security reasons) and it did the exact same thing!

 

I started from scratch again, no settings were imported. 

 

This time around I even let the initial library scan complete overnight before interrupting it or restarting the server to install plugins.

 

Music looks great, Movies and TV same cover 4 times again.

 

Now I have bigger issues, though, so I'm going to use computerprep's custom icons and move on.

 

If anyone wants me to try a potential fix just for the sake of debugging let me know.
