Hello Luke,

I'm having a hard time with my dedicated server to run the movies on the Iphone and Android.

In the tests I did my problem on the iPhone X, I'm testing the same MP4 + AAC Files.

In case I did these tests.

Android Tablet 7 - Movie Playback "Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi" works in seamless playback perfectly.

Iphone X - Movie Replay "Star Wars Episode V - Empire Strikes Back" Play for a few seconds, then return. There you play for more seconds and then again.

Then I do the inversion of the movies. On Android I play the movie that was catching on the Iphone, and the direct playback is perfect on Android.

Star Wars: Episode VI - The Return of the Jedi "Play for a few seconds, then return.

Android Tablet 7 - Movie Replay "Star Wars Episode V - Empire Strikes Back" works in seamless playback perfectly.

If I enable the transcoding option for that user, it works perfectly on the Iphone X, but it's not my focus to work with transcoding. follows a log with that senary.

If you can help me, it hurts if you need some kind of remote access, I really need to know if this is okay with the emby server.

in the meand of the test I saw that in the Andorid stopped for a few seconds too.

I saw that on clients, it does not cache buffer playback. is there any setting for this cache buffer to work in Direct Play? so I would avoid those small stops that are happening in my case.

My dedicated server has the local address valid on the internet that has any problem?

Intel Xeon E3-1225v3 3.2Ghz

32GB of RAM

2HD 4 TB

1G download and upload, guaranteed 200mb upload

Can problem be solved on the internet of dedicated? if you can help me with some kind of solution, depending on if you need to make some kind of access on my server, I can pay for the service suddenly.

Here are some logs.

Hi, can you try updating to Emby for iOS 1.6.2? Thanks.

Luke,

In some cases the client buffer is not loading. and in these cases I have some crashes (video stands still for a few seconds.)

In another case the video buffer of the client is loaded because we still have some stops in a few moments. follow the logs.

Maybe the bitrate is just too high? Can you try lowering the in-app quality setting to force it to transcode? Thanks.

Luke,

After syncing with the Google drive, is it possible to leave this version of google as the default? to be the first choice when it comes to playing?

Posted

In many cases it will be, yes.

Do you have a place that explains how to leave it in default?
