Maybe a noob question:

I have a PC which I use as server/client. This PC is connected via HDMI to my Onkyo TX-NR525 Receiver.

Now I want to play music, using the Media Browser Android App, on my receiver. I have noticed the "Play to" button and it shows my receiver. Fine so far... but I don't hear any music on my receiver....

Do I have to set the receiver in a certain mode? Normally it is set to 'PC' when I use the Mediabrowser PC client. Do I have to set it to DLNA?

Furthermore I notice that sometimes the 'play to' button shows no devices at all, while the Media Server Dashboard shows my receiver as active device.

Anyone recognize this issue?

A little bit further...

When I enable the Media Browser Dashboard on the server I can select the dashboard in the "play to" list and play music via the dashboard (and I hear it my receiver :-) )!!!

So it probally has something to do with my receiver settings... anyone?

EDIT:

I managed to play the music on my receiver. :)  I had set it to DLNA, but was forgotten to select the right DLNA source (e.g. my server).... stupid me...  . Thread may be closed...
